Hoisin Beef Wraps Recipe

These Hoisin Beef Wraps are a delicious and simple way to enjoy Asian cuisine's bold flavors. Tender beef slices are cooked in a savory hoisin, soy, and ginger sauce before being wrapped in fresh lettuce leaves with crunchy vegetables and zesty cilantro.

Instructions

  • In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat 1 tablespoon vegetable oil.
  • Cook for 3-4 minutes per side, or until the beef is browned and cooked through.
  • Whisk together the hoisin sauce, soy sauce, honey, cornstarch, ground ginger, garlic powder, and 1/4 cup water in a small bowl.
  • Cook for 1-2 minutes, or until the sauce thickens and coats the beef, in the skillet with the beef.
  • Place a lettuce leaf on a plate and top with a spoonful of the beef mixture to make the wraps.
  • Sprinkle with shredded carrots, sliced green onions, and cilantro.
  • Before serving, squeeze a wedge of lime over the top of each wrap.
