Beef Shawarma Wrap Recipe

This tasty beef shawarma wrap is ideal for a quick and filling meal. The tender beef is marinated in a flavorful spice blend and grilled to perfection before being wrapped in a warm pita bread with fresh veggies and creamy hummus.

  • Cook Time: 8 minutes
  • Total Time: 48 minutes

Instructions

  • Whisk together the lemon juice, olive oil, garlic, cumin, coriander, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, and salt in a large mixing bowl.
  • Toss the beef in the marinade in a large mixing bowl.
  • Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, and up to 8 hours.
  • Preheat the grill to medium-high temperature.
  • Remove the beef from the marinade and grill for 3-4 minutes per side, or until fully cooked.
  • Warm the pita breads on the grill or in the oven before assembling the wraps.
  • Spread hummus liberally on each pita, then top with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, red onion, and chopped parsley.
  • Fill each wrap with a few slices of grilled beef and roll tightly to enclose the filling.
